What is RAM memory? RAM memory is a small circuit board that stores short term data or files. I say short term because RAM memory retreives data from the hard drive and saves it. So as you are using your program the processer goes to the RAM memory card and get information it needs, as opposed to going to the hard drive and retreiving the data again.This process is time consuming. Also I say RAM memory is short term because the information on the memory card is deleted when you close your program or turn off your computer. To learn more about memory visit me at RAM memory

With the introduction of the transistors in the 1950’s the world changed. Developing into what we know today as (RAM) Random Access memory or (ROM) Read only Memory. Bell Computers was the first company to build a computer using transistors in the mid 50’s. In 1970 Intel introduced DRAM (dynamic random-access memory), it can store 1024 bits which is equal to 1 kb memory. And today we have 3TB external hard drives and 128 GB USB drives, both introduced in 2010. Refer to computer symbols. The computer is made up of many components, the hard drive, the processor, and the RAM memory are only a few of them. The RAM memory is used in conjunction with your hard drive. You hard drive is also memory, but the hard drive has a much bigger capacity. Think of it like this, you at work at your desk where your RAM memory is and next door is a warehouse. What is Algorithms and Encryption?   These are codes consisting of 128 bit or digits, some algorithms are now 256 bit.   128-bit key has more than 300,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 key combinations.   . A  code   helps a person or computer figure out the one possibility. You create a coded message to send to a friend and you substitute the letters A, D, M, P and R with the   numbers4 , 7, 9, 12 and 15.then your friend will be able the translate your letter using these codes, computer encryption is much more complicated than this but this is the basics.
